</div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;">Proverbs 18:21 </span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;">"The tongue has the power of life and death, </span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;">and those who love it will eat its fruit."</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;">Proverbs 10:11</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;">"The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life,</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;">but violence overwhelms the mouth of the wicked."</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;">Last night I was reading my scriptures and really trying to open my heart to the promptings of the spirit. I have been pray<span class="goog-spellcheck-word">ing</span> for direction lately and have now started to dig into the word and seek it out. How do you receive direction from the Lord? What kind of heart does the Lord reveal direction and guidance to? These are the questions I have been seeking answers for. So, last night I was reading Psalm 25. I was praying and meditating on the words written across the page. I am a bible marking woman. My Bible has notes written in the margins and verses underlined. It is my sacred journal from God. So, I'm reading and trying to dissect the words line by line and I am drawn back to verses 1 and 2. So, I put a box around them. </span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;">" To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul.</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;">in you I trust, O my God,</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;">Do not let me be put to shame,</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;">nor let my enemies triumph over me."</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;">I just kept reading it over and over again. Then I made it my prayer. And I prayed it over and over again. I put my pen to paper and my heart poured out in ink. It is amazing how God can change the direction of a devotion. I was searching for guidance in a situation and God just said to me, "W<span class="goog-spellcheck-word">ait</span> a minute. Be still. You need to let me heal your heart before we go any further." </span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Courier New;">I believe in the power of words, and the power of lies. I also believe in the power of healing. The enemy is strong, but God is </span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Courier New;">faithful. Speak blessings over the ones you love. Even speak blessings over the ones who don't love you. </span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Courier New;">Matthew 12:36&37</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Courier New;">"But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned."</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Courier New;">This is God's warning and promise.</span></div>A. Lynn Fitzgeraldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06412872334865647674noreply@blogger.com0
